Come! And he comes;

Matthew 8:22 But Jesus told him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead."
Matthew 8:23 Jesus' disciples went with him as he left in a boat.
Matthew 8:24 Suddenly, a severe storm came across the sea. The waves were covering the boat. Yet, Jesus was sleeping.
Matthew 8:25 So they woke him up, saying, "Lord! Save us! We're going to die!"
Matthew 8:26 Jesus said to them, "Why do you cowards have so little faith?" Then he got up, gave an order to the wind and the sea, and the sea became very calm.

When I read this passage earlier I really thought that our faith can grow even more by ourselves. Even the answer is "yes" faith can grow more but different than I thought. When we 're in the field we have just realised that we have developed my faith wrongly by looking for faith somewhere else, books or copy the faith from big timer preachers to grow my own faith. We, of course, can see the faith of others as same as the Lord see the faith in paralytic's freinds in Matthew 9:2 :
And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Child, be of good cheer. Your sins are forgiven you.

When we see that sort of faith we forgot the author and the finisher of faith. We copied their faith. We can not see others' people faith as the Lord see but our faith is not really our faith we should focus on the Lord Jesus Christ otherwise it will be a 2nd hand value faith copied from somebody else faith.

In Matthew 8:24 Suddenly, a severe storm came across the sea. In this version of the Bible I saw a little boat where Jesus was there with His disciples. When they saw big wave the disciples became scared and forgot the author and the finisher of faith. But when they can not see and use their "little faith" they have to call on Jesus. The word said "Then He got up, gave an order to the wind and the sea, and the sea became very calm."

I confessed that when we faced problems with people in the field days in days out actually we dpd not realise that they are not our problems but the Lord. He is doing His works His ways but we have our imagination beated ourselves up. The enemy used that situation created the big wave for us to see.

2Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,
2Corinthians 10:5 pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;
2Corinthians 10:6 and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

I did come to that situation when my wife hospitalise early of the month. Even I know that is the trick of the enemy but as I have developed a 2nd hand faith I still worry until I reach the throne of grace. When I saw big wave I trembling but God is always faithful. Actually it should not be my faith but faith in a great God our Lord Jesus Christ who is our Lord, our Master.

Hebrews 4:16 Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

This Sunday I brought these three boys to GPC to let them get used to the church. I believe our God will do His work through these three boys. Actually 5 of them want to come but I will wait confidently. My work is just to prepare myself, pray and then cast all my care and leave the result to Him. I can do nothing without Him. I did develop my trusting in human and the result came out to disappointment.But we learn. Pray always and live in His presence should be all I could do and then leave result to Him. He is faith and just.
Thank You Lord for every day that you open my eyes and what I am asking You to impart faith for me to carry on with You. I realise that even it is your work but we so curious and want to see the result at least to encourage that You are with us Lord. Always.
